Recently a friend of mine hosted 16 girls, for a sweet 16 sleepover party. The girls played a game that took almost all night. They went around the room and, girl by girl, each said what they liked about each other. My friend retold how positive the night was and how happy each girl seemed.
Imagine a night of positive affirmations why you are loved, whether that is your smile, your sweet demeanor, your humor, your long hair or perfect pixie, how understanding you are, the list goes on. Sixteen different people sharing all the positives of you of what makes you YOU!
I am not going to lie, for a moment I thought I about hosting my own adult party and calling it my positive perfect party. As a busy woman who is working hard either with the children or working a full time job, I am not sure I know any women who would not benefit from a party like this.
We all need to know how special we are from time to time. You might not be able to get 16 of your friends over to play the game, but you can send a random note or email, sharing your love to a friend at any time.
