Farewell

A part of my last day at my old company was a happy hour to celebrate me. I actually think it was a celebration of all the projects I worked on, clients I served, and implementations where I played a part. It was so great to see all the friends and colleagues who came by to wish me well. What was even more enjoyable was reminiscing on old times.

I was completely overwhelmed by the love that was poured out on me, the amount of people who came by, but most of all it was a simple reminder that we have a choice each day- what impact do we want to make in other’s lives? Do we want to be happy, easy to work with, supportive, friendly; or seen as difficult, bossy, angry etc.

I choose Positive! It matters! People notice.  It impacts how you feel each day; it impacts how people feel about you and how you are seen by others. And in the end, it is the relationships you make along the way that make life worth living!
