Recently Delaney went to Bring Your Kids to Work Day. There was a wealth of information she got to share on her name tag. The front side had her picture and she got to pick her favorite thing; that made me super proud because she wrote her family (and she did not know when writing it that we would see her nametag😊).
On the back of the nametag were other questions: What do you want to be when you grow-up? What skills do you have today to help you succeed in that career? If you were a famous hero, what would you be famous for? If you ran a toy company, what would be your next great toy to sell? What are three things people would say most represent your personality? (We will tackle that one in a later blog post.)
My favorite question: If you were a robot, what would be your primary function? And she wrote….. Kindness.
It is really that simple, especially in today’s world with all the conflict, hate and negativity. If we are all just kind, or kinder, everything else falls into place.
