This past Thanksgiving holiday, nothing was a chore, every task big or small came with a smile and excitement of the outcome; preparing for overnight guests, the actual prep of the meals, getting the house in order. It all came from a place of anticipation and excitement because my normal daily activities were in balance.
A coworker recently said to me, “When you’re killing it each day, everything is easier.” He is right. Now, the definition of “Killing it each day” is different for everyone. For me, it is the ability to balance work and life demands and not feel crushed at the end of a day. Which means: to truly enjoy my time being present, whether working or spending time with family or friends.
How do you define “Killing it each day”? Is that your reality, if not, what steps do you need to take? Christmas is coming….
