I was recently with a dear friend and had one of those moments in the conversation. You know those conversations where you are at the right place at the right time which will set you up for a reminder you will need in the near future. (sometimes called Godwink) My friend shared Maya’s quote with me. At the moment, I thought nothing of it as it flowed right into our conversation about balancing life and managing all types of relationships, family, friends, coworkers, even parents of our children’s friends.
But as Godwinks often do, a few days later it quickly put a relationship right into perspective, giving me the calm I needed to push through the negativity surrounding me. Don’t ignore the moments in the present which seem small, often times they are a part of something bigger.
