Save it for a Rainy Day

If you are like me, you have a list of all the projects you want to do in the home that you are saving for a rainy day. My list is always around cleaning out closets, donating what we are not using, and more; yes, it feels endless. But guess what? The rainy day is here, and it will actually last a few weeks – some say even months.

Pull out that list and make a plan of attack. Look at your schedule prior to social distancing and during times you had previously scheduled to run the kids around or attend a class of your own, and use it to tackle your rainy-day items.

I am excited to see the empty closets in the coming weeks. I know that by donating all these unused items – blankets, clothes, never-used holiday décor and extra kitchen supplies – there are other families who are going to benefit.
