I am a strong believer that magic happens when we are still. We need time to breathe and allow our thoughts to wonder. This activity does not happen for many on a regular basis unless they have established a great meditation or yoga practice.
For me, the still moments occur when I am away from home. It is the moments where I have no distractions like wash to fold, dinners to make or dogs to walk. Because I know this about me, vacation time is so important.
For many of us, we have been juggling more than normal during COVID-19, not to mention the stress of loved ones or ourselves being directly impacted health-wise. That is why it is even more important to find the quiet time, a staycation, or vacation away from a little different, just simply find extended time for your well being and those around you.
