Who tells your story?
The ending lines can run through you. When you are gone, who tells your story? Then the next logical question is, what is the story they tell. For me, it is a few items:
I loved my family (we all say this one, right?).
I wrote a blog to inspire others to love living who they are and adjust/pivot where needed.
I had a few mentor/mentee relationships that shaped me as a woman.
I was passionate about my work.
(My kids would add, she loved the beach, collecting shells and starfish.)
Have you thought about your story and what they would say? It might be time to start creating the story you want to be told.
It’s brave to consider what your legacy will be. Most people are naturally hesitant to even think about what happens after they pass.
