It is here, fall, and another school year, although a very different school year. We are seeing the virtual pictures all over our social media feeds. I am trying not to let the anxiety, panic, and depression that came with virtual school in the Spring hit me. I am confident the collection of school boards, schoolteachers, parents, and children alike have all rallied to make this year unique, productive, and legendary.
That is the word I am going with- Legendary- the exact definition is the following: something that has become famous or well-known, usually as a result of a distinctive or unique characteristic or skill.
If we flip the script, embrace the new virtual way for our children, like we have in our work environments, possibly this year can go down as legendary. The year we beat all odds and flourished in a virtual educational environment.
Let’s take this challenge on as something we make legendary- something we talk about in years to come as, “We did it, we killed and excelled, despite the challenges we faced!”
In the end, what does not kill us, will make us stronger ……..
