Today is my baby sister’s birthday. There is a 16-year difference but the older we get the age rarely matters. For everything we have in common, there are equal traits we don’t share.
Like any long relationship, we have had to learn to dance with each other and celebrate our similarities along with appreciating our uniqueness. I am so grateful for her smile, her voice that carries any Adele or Broadway tune and her willingness to always put family first.
Sibling relationships are not the easiest but when you learn how two-step together, it is actually the most magical relationship you will ever have!
