This seems to be the common theme this week, as I am doing my workouts. The funny thing is that I am confident the instructors have been saying it for as long as I have been working out, this week I hear it louder.
Sometimes we need that extra push out of bed, a reminder of the wonderful life we have built and how blessed we truly are to be here. The weight of life sitting heavy on your chest is sometimes a real thing. The reasons can be many, work might feel hard, kids might be going through a rough patch, a family member is in their last days, the reasons are countless. One must remind themselves, that they have a choice to seize the day and breathe through the feeling or emotion causing the pause.
And believe me, when I say seize the day, it can mean many things. Above all, get out of bed, get your body moving, and if a few hours later, you need to throw in the towel, ok, do it.
Not sure what works for you, but for me it is dancing. So, on the mornings that feel harder than they need, I take it slow. I read my fun book for a bit and then I do a workout that requires cardio and fun, which is usually dance. Find your gem that gets your spirits a little higher and makes the tension in your chest lighter and just breath through it.
