One of the restrooms at an office complex in India had the following sign on the bathroom door: “Wrap your troubles in a tissue and throw in a wastebin.” Now we all know what the “trouble” reference is but how amazing if it was that simple? You could write down all your troubles, throw them in a wastebin and be done with them; someone would come along and discard them forever.
Guess what? I believe it can be that easy, at least the writing them down and throwing them in a wastebin part. For me, that is the first step of moving forward or acknowledging something needs adjusting. Writing it down frees the thoughts from the bottleneck of your own mind and, once it is on paper, you can breathe a little, even get comfortable sharing with others what is troubling you.
Something on your mind, causing you trouble? Write it down and throw it in the wastebin. Let that drop in the bucket be the acknowledgement you are about to take action to correct the problem..
