In times of trial, it is not ironic that signs appear all around you to walk you through that trial. Either to teach you how to overcome, teach you how to survive, or remind you that you are not alone.
Let me give you an example. A few years ago, when Jarrod and I were living on one salary, I was constantly focused on money – the money we had or the lack of money we had to pay our bills or plan for the future. I was constantly consumed thinking about and worrying about money. It seemed during that time, when I would search through Pinterest I would see quotes on money. While reading my magazines it seemed many articles were focused on cutting your grocery bill, planning for retirement, or how to vacation with little to no money. When I went to church, the sermon was either on trusting the Lord with what is heavy on your heart or sermons centered on money and coming to peace with your financial situation.
You might be struggling with a health issue, trying to better manage your children’s behavior, or you might have a boss you can’t please. Whatever the case, look around you, there are signs at every turn to guide you through this time.
