Another Year

Today is my birthday, I am older, I am old. Middle-aged actually. I still don’t like being called a woman or lady, I prefer girl or just Tric will do. I guess for middle-aged I am healthy, all my numbers are in check, I exercise, eat mostly healthy. I am happy. Here is the best part of being middle-aged – I am happy. I am blessed. I am grateful.

I love my life, my family, my friends, my blog readers, my coworkers. I have wishes/wants, just like you:

I want family members who are sick to recover quickly

I want my brother-in-law to return home safely from active duty

I want to sit in my chair with a book in my hand and Penelope in my lap

I want to hear my kids sing happy birthday and call me mama

I want to sit on a beach with my husband and watch the waves crash as the sun warms my face

Most of all, I want this year to be the best year yet!

Have you made your list of gratitude and wants?

  1. Happy Birthday to a wonderful young lady who for a brief time I had the pleasure of working with. Always a ready smile and a kind word. A person who I will always be thankful for having the privilege of knowing. Many, many more sweet lady.
