Habits

“We first make our habits, and then our habits make us.” ~John Dryden

Ever wake up one day, look in the mirror and say, “Oh, hell no!” It has happened to me a few times on this life train. Once in my career when I could see the stress taking all the joy out of my face. Once when I was in the “drink wine daily” phase and I noticed my whole body felt fatigued. Then again recently, where I just felt gross, my face looked swollen. No matter how I changed my eating and drinking habits, nothing was working, I felt defeated.

Drastic changes sometimes come with drastic measures. I started a specific weight loss program, Optavia. I made a commitment to myself- if others could do this program and achieve success, I could too. #YES

Here is the best part about it, I am learning habits I forgot. In the beginning, I had alarms set to remind me to eat. Now a few weeks in, my body just knows it is time to eat. The program has curved my cravings too, now good choices are the default. #Goodhabitcreator

We all have moments where changes are needed. Other people can’t tell you when- you need to see it, feel it and be ready.
