14- That is the number of years I have been married this month. I cannot believe how much time has gone by. When I reflect back on our life, it seems as if there are different books to be read:  the year we moved to Raleigh, the years at the wealth management firm, the years I had no kids and taught Sunday school, the years with the dog business, the year we had Delaney, the year it was time to come back home, I could go on, as I am sure you could too if you were writing different books or chapters of your marriage.

The one thing that remains through it all is stability. For better or worse, through all the stages, uncomfortable, loving, and growth stages, it was always us together. I would be kidding you if I said marriage is easy, I don’t believe anyone who says that.  Marriage is the hardest relationship you will have because it has so many layers. At the same time, it is a big cozy blanket with a lifetime of memories, and something that should be appreciated.
